Learn how to delete tags from your farm. Also learn how to move tags to an archived tag category to avoid deleting records and data. 

Note - Deleting a tag WILL NOT delete previous records with this tag attached to them, however it WILL remove your ability to filter records by this deleted tag.

Steps to Delete a Tag - Mobile

1. Select ‘more’ in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
2. Select ‘settings’.
3. Navigate to the tags section
4. Press on the tag you wish to delete
5. Select ‘delete’
6. Confirm

Steps to Delete a Tag - Desktop

1. Select ‘settings’ in the top right hand corner of your screen 
2. Navigate to the tags section
3. Click on the tag you wish to delete
4. Select ‘delete’
5. Confirm

Best Practices

• Delete unused tags with no records or data underneath for farm management
• Pro Tip: If you are wanting to delete a tag, that has records and data underneath it - consider creating a new tag category named ‘Z Archived’. Resolution uses alphanumeric sorting for tag categories, meaning that this tag category will appear at the bottom of your tag category list, so it is out of the way. However, you will still have access to all the records and data if you ever need.
