Steps to Transfer a Record to a Task - Mobile

  1. Navigate to the records timeline.
  2. Identify the record you wish to transfer to a task.
  3. Select ‘Edit’.
  4. Select ‘Save as task’.
  5. Make any changes to the new task that you wish.
  6. Add an assignee and due date.
  7. Select ‘Save’.

 

 

Steps to Transfer a Record to a Task - Desktop

  1. Navigate to the records timeline.
  2. Identify the record you wish to transfer to a task.
  3. Select ‘Edit’.
  4. Select ‘Save as task’.
  5. Make any changes to the new task that you wish.
  6. Add an assignee and due date.
  7. Select ‘Save’.

 

 

Best Practices:

  • This can be also done in reverse, where you can save a task as a record.
