Learn how to edit existing tags within Resolution. Editing a tag WILL NOT delete any records and data under the original tag.

Steps to Edit a Tag - Mobile

  1. Select ‘more’ in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
  2. Select ‘settings’.
  3. Navigate to the tags section
  4. Press the tag you wish to edit
  5. Here you can change the tag name, whether it's public or restricted, and it's tag category it is under.
  6. Save your newly edited tag.
  7. Your newly edited tag is now ready to use.

 

 

Steps to Edit a Tag - Desktop

  1. Select ‘settings’ in the top right hand corner of your screen 
  2. Navigate to the tags section
  3. Click on the tag you wish to edit
  4. Here you can change the tag name, whether it's public or restricted, and the tag category it is under.
  5. Save your newly edited tag.
  6. Your newly edited tag is now ready to use.

 

 

Best Practices

  • Use clear, concise tag names
  • Avoid duplicate tags
  • Consider creating a consistent tagging strategy
  • Important Notice: When you edit a tag, your records and data will auto automatically populate from the original tag to the newly edited one. You WILL NOT lose any records or data underneath the tag.
