  2. Select ‘settings’.
  3. Navigate to the users section.
  4. Either select an existing user or select add a new user.
  5. Here you will see their user permissions.
  6. Important Note: Only users with the farm manage permission enabled can view these settings and make edits.

Below we will explain what each permission level means for the user.

Chat Permissions:

  • If no permissions are enabled, the user won't be able to access the chat functionality, this includes receiving and sending messages.
  • If ‘User’ is enabled, the user will be able to access the chat screen, however they need to be added into a group chat or direct by another user to use the functionality. They cannot create new groups themselves.
  • If ‘Create’ is enabled, the user be able to create new group and direct chats with other farm users, as well as be added to groups. They can only edit chats that they have created
  • If ‘Manage’ is enabled, the user will be able to archive and unarchive chats from the farm and have the full permissions.
  • Pro Tip: In order to change the settings of a specific group chat, such as the group name, background, cover photo etc. you need to be an ‘Admin’ of that chat or have the chat ‘manage’ permission enabled.
