Learn how to use all of the tools and features within your chats. In the next lesson we will cover how to attach records and tags into chats, and create records and tags from chats.

Typing Written Messages

• Select ‘Write a message’ to type out a message to send to the chat. 
• You can copy and paste live links and URL's into messages.
• To send an emoji, use the emoji button to the left of ‘Write a message’, or use your keyboard.
• Select the grey arrow to send your message.

Sending Attachments

• Select the attachment icon to the right of ‘Write a message’.
• Choose between photos and videos from your camera roll and files. Attaching records and tasks will be covered in the next lesson. 
• Pro Tip: On desktop, you can click and drag attachments into the message to send them.
• To the right of the attachment icon, the camera icon will allow you to take and attach a live photo.
• To the right of the camera icon, you can record a voice note by selecting the microphone and attaching that as a message.
• After selecting your attachments, you can type a written message before sending it into the chat.

Long Pressing Messages

• If you long press a message that you have sent, there are multiple options available from editing the message, copying the message, message info, option to delete it and more.
• If you long press a message that another user has sent, again you have multiple options. You can reply to the message directly, forward it onto another chat or create a new chat, star the message etc.
• If you star a message, at the top of the chat there is a star icon you select to show all starred messages.

Search Messages and Starred Messages

• In the top right hand side of your screen you can use the search tool to search for keywords to view messages that contain the keyword.
• The starred button allows you to view all starred messages.
