Add Arrows to a Line

Learn how to add arrows to a line on a map layer, so you can show direction at a glance - like directional grazing, power flow or which gate to move stock through.

  • You can use map layers when creating both records and tasks.

  • Everything in this article works the same way on both mobile and desktop.

  • Arrows are great for showing direction - such as directional grazing on a winter grazing plan, the way electricity flows along a fence, or which gate to send stock in or out.

Adding Arrows

  1. Draw your line, then select Done.

  2. The sidebar opens automatically. Scroll down to Arrow.

  3. Choose where you would like your arrow — at the Start, at the End or on Both ends.

  4. Pick your arrow size — Small, Medium or Large.

  5. When you are happy, select Save.

  6. Select Continue drawing to add more to your map layer, or Finished drawing to return to your record or task.

Extra Info

  • By default a line has no arrow — select None at any time to remove one.

  • You can add or change arrows later by editing the line and returning to the Arrow options.
