Welcome, learn how to validate and save changes so that your new map goes live in the app. Also learn how to fix any validation errors that may appear.
Why You Received Validation Errors.
- There are two types of validation errors you may receive when you attempt to validate and save your changes.
- Invalid Label: This means that your paddock label is outside of that paddocks boundary lines.
- Invalid Paddock: This means that 1% or more of a paddock overlaps with another paddock.
- These need to be fixed before Resolution will allow you to validate and save your changes.

How To Fix Invalid Label Validation Error.
- Select the pen icon next to the paddock with the invalid label message.
- Click and drag the paddock label back within the paddock boundaries.
- Select ‘Finish Drawing’.
- Select ‘Save’.

How To Fix Invalid Paddock Validation Error.
- Select the pen icon next to the paddock with the invalid paddock message.
- Use the map editor tools and instructions tab to adjust the paddock boundary lines to ensure there is no overlap with another paddock.
- Select ‘Finish Drawing’.
- Select ‘Save’.

Validate And Save Changes.
- After fixing your validation errors, you need to validate and save your changes once more.
- Pro Tip: We recommend only validating and saving your changes made to the map once at the end, after all your changes have been made.
- To do so, select ‘Validate & Save Changes’.
- Select ‘Save Changes’ to confirm.
- Users will then need to sync the app for these changes to be visible.
